Dorchester woman is hurt in fall at Logan Airport.
February 4, 1965
Mary Pfeffer, 64, who had been taken ill while vacationing in Florida, falls from a stretcher at the top of an exit ramp to a plane. The accident occurs when Massachusetts senator Julius Ansel, who had been holding one end of stretcher carrying his constituent, turns to face a photographer taking pictures of him and loses hold of the stretcher, causing Pfeffer to suffer scalp cuts and a concussion.
